The Dangers Of Hannitization
November 30, 2007Evidence that the “Stop Hillary Express” may have turned into a Crazy Train: Man Takes Hostages At Clinton Campaign Office
Witnesses Say Man Has Bomb-Like Device Strapped To Chest
ROCHESTER, N.H. — An armed man has taken two campaign workers hostage at the Hillary Clinton campaign office in Rochester, police said.
As to be expected, the blogs are buzzing about this one, so here’s the memeorandum link if you want to catch all the reactions.
Update: There’s no evidence as of yet that this guy was a Hannity fan, so I sort of regret this post. It was just the first thing I thought when I saw the story. I was making light of what could have been a deadly serious situation, and I apologise for that.

As much as I loathe Hannity, I can’t blame him for Lee Eisenberg’s actions. Eisenberg is known in this area (I live in Farmington, NH — the next town over). He’s nutty as a fruitcake and has been for some time.
I am not a big Hannity fan either, but I agree. He cannot be blamed for this. If anything, I would blame Clinton simply for the fact that she stands out there and tells everybody that they deserve free health care… And then she has a local nutball take her office hostage demanding that he gets mental health care.
Yea, I posted this before I knew any details. I kinda regret this one.
What the hell does Hillary’s health-care plan have to do with what this drunken nutcase did?
kip- Maybe he assumed that Hillary would eventually become president, so the stunt was intended as statement to call her attention to the plight of the mentally ill in the hope that she’d do something to improve the situation. Of course, it’s hard to know if there’s any logic to it. After all, he’s mentally ill.
Good point!
