And I was instantly reminded of this:  Ambassador claims shortly before invasion, Bush didn’t know there were two sects of Islam

Galbraith reports that the three of them spent some time explaining to Bush that there are two different sects in Islam–to which the President allegedly responded, “I thought the Iraqis were Muslims!”

  1. This comes as no suprise to me. I would venture a guess that even now, after 4 years of war in Iraq. Most Americans cant tell you the difference either.

And in the end who cares who had the right to take over the Muslim Religion. Weather it be a birth right, or by mariage. Or who killed who 2000 years ago.

The fact of the mater is they need to learn to seperate politics from religion. And until they do, there will be no piece in the region.

    Just my $0.02
